Road Trip #12: The One with the Mobile Bar

We went to Palacio de Maynila today to see the setup of Shakers Big Punch 808 Mobile Bar.
I've been in contact with Ryan since February, but it's only now that we find time to schedule a drink-taste.
Their set up is pretty decent, with laser and strobe lights.

The drinks tastes good, we tried the Red my Lips and Tequila Sunrise.

Their package includes mixed drinks (Cocktails, Shooters and Mocktails), flaming shots and bar games.

It also includes 3 Bartenders and 1 Waiter. I think they offered a good deal, so we booked them immediately.

The owner is very easy to talk to. Payag lang siya sa kahit anong irequest ko. Ang bait lang. Here's the picture of Ryan (the owner) with Neil after the contract signing!

Mobile bar checked!

Road Trip #11: The One with the Meetup with Chocolate Supplier

This was a quick meetup with Sophia's Chocolat last July 8, 2012.
Michelle and her husband are nice but seems busy, parang nagmamadali.
Madami yata silang meetups that day.

Among the packages that they have, these are what we are thinking of purchasing:

For the Principal Sponsors.

For the Suppliers and maybe Prizes or the games.

For the Bridesmaids and SS girls.

For the Groomsmen and SS guys.

They are affordable with a very nice and elegant presentation. And the taste, they are good. Not the cadbury-good, but they are good quality chocs. And they are not that sweet! :)

***Pictures taken from the quotes they sent to me.

Road Trip #10: The One with the Coins for Arrhae

From my previous blog entry, I discussed the coins that I wanted to used as our Arrhae for the wedding and showed the coins that I collected so far.

I read this from W@W, the rules for the arrhae:
The groom gives the bride 13 coins or arrhae, blessed by the priest, as a sign of his dedication to his wife's well-being and the welfare of their future children.
So, i revisited my collected coins and see if I can come up with 12 coins from other currencies. (I want to use a Philippine Peso for my 13th piece (Syempre!)

And so far, here's the list:

I already asked for the other currencies in the table with blank denominations, hinihintay ko nalang makuha.
So, we're all set for the coins. We just need a decent holder/container for it. :)
(And research of ways to clean some of the old coins pala)
